Meanswhile have used an ultra lightweight and packable double ripstop material that is waterproof, water repellent, and breathable without the use of coatings or adhesives.
The fabric is rugged enough to resist scrapes and wear and tear yet lightweight and packable.  

Designed to be as light as possible and to fit ergonomically to the body with a structure that allows easy access to all pockets. There is a large pocket on the back for easy access, and a mesh pocket on the side that can be used as a holder for long items or bottles. The side pockets and left shoulder pocket use ITW NEXUS cord stoppers that can be opened and closed with one touch with one hand and there is a waist belt to help take the strain and keep longer term use comfortable.
