The base fabric on this beauty is middle-weight waterproof 3layer fabric, and the pockets and elbow pad reinforcements are made of lightweight salt shrink nylon. An all-seam tape design using a high-performance 3-layer material that can be worn for a wide range of seasons.

As the name alludes the collar transforms from a stand collar suitable for active activities to a hood for when its coming down in buckets. 

As you'd expect from a Norbit jacket there are an array of pockets of all sizes for stashing your bits.
