Introducing DeMarcoLab to This Thing of Ours
Written by Ali George Hinkins
There are multiple facets to the DeMarcoLab identity, encompassing its eponymous in-house label and retail operation that handles both new and vintage products. However, my primary focus lies on DeMarcoLab as a 'brand,' especially as This Thing of Ours just received it's inaugural delivery.
DeMarcoLab is a relatively new entity on my radar, lingering on the periphery in many circles. That's not to imply they are newcomers; the brand has been carving a name for itself since 2009, thanks to its designer, Knox, who draws endless inspiration from counter-culture influences such as skateboarding and underground music.
In essence, DeMarcoLab's aesthetic can be summarised as 'functional and inventive streetwear.' Their physical designs effortlessly blend trace elements from casual and active wear, incorporating adaptable and subtle designs that define the essence of DeMarcoLab. From technical windbreaker jackets with colorful zippers to sweatshirts adorned with playful graphics, each season features an adaptive range of goods that draw inspiration from both the past and the future.
Keep an eye on This Thing of Ours’ online store and Instagram so you can be the first to get your hands on it.
