Meaning "down-free" in Swedish, the Dunfri Jacket is Houdini’s quintessential synthetic insulation piece, offering the plush warmth and compressibility of down without any of its wet-weather vulnerabilities or ethical compromises. Packed with 92% recycled PrimaLoft® Gold insulation, it boasts an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio while retaining its thermal capacity even when saturated by relentless mountain dampness.

The outer face and lining are constructed from Spinner Ripstop™, a lightweight yet remarkably tough 100% recycled polyester fabric that shields against biting winds while maintaining high breathability. Cut in a clean, minimalist silhouette, the jacket features an adjustable hood, elasticated internal sleeve cuffs, and pre-shaped sleeves to allow natural movement. Two zipped side handwarmer pockets double as core ventilation, while an internal mesh stow pocket lets the entire jacket pack down cleanly into itself for compact trail storage.

Treated with a PFAS-free DWR coating to repel light precipitation, the Dunfri glides seamlessly under a hard shell or works as a standalone outer layer from alpine bivouacs to crisp urban commutes. True to Houdini’s circular ethos, its mono-material polyester build is fully recyclable, keeping technical performance completely closed-loop.
