Derived from the "kimono" with its crossover collar style structure, the Evolution Kimono features an oversized fit with full-length sleeves, designed as a gender-neutral unisex piece. A reinterpretation of traditional Eastern kimono aesthetics fused with intricate embroidery techniques. With large utility pockets on both sides and a mesh lining to enhance breathability.
Crafted from Japanese SOLOTEX® fabric with a deep, rich black tone the fabric has a dry touch and high comfort, suitable for all-season wear. It is lightweight with high durability and a slight stretch for flexibility and freedom of movement.
Continuing oqLiq’s design philosophy of merging functionality with nature, this series incorporates a unique embroidery technique. Using fabric-specific embroidery machines, each pattern takes approximately two hours to complete. The intricate process results in limited quantities and a distinctive tactile and visual expression.
Arranged like biological cells, the pattern flows between order and variation, evoking the rhythm of natural life (or something).
