Archival Reinvent’s Autumn/Winter ‘21-22 Collection Dubbed ‘Photosynthesis’.

Presenting their renewed take on functionality, Archival Reinvent’s Autumn/Winter ‘21-22 collection has arrived at This Thing of Ours in full force.
Whilst still relatively new in its inception, AW ‘21-22 marks the second season of This Thing of Ours carrying Archival Reinvent and they have gone from strength to strength since, refining each garment to near-enough perfection.
With each passing collection, Archival Reinvent abides by its manifesto of further testing the parameters of urban functionality through design assisted by multi-pocket configurations, oversized silhouettes and utilitarian detailing. Whilst the urban environment has remained at the forefront of their vision, this season the garments are engineered to function equally as well in the aforementioned context as they are in an outdoor setting which has been achieved through technical garment finishes like Teflon® and thermosensitive fabrics, as well as the implementation of modular concepts.
This Thing of Ours’ offering consists of the Teflon® Archival 3D Parka Jacket, Teflon® Packable Windbreaker Jacket, Multi Disk Pants and 3D Pocket Long Sleeve T-shirt. The pieces come equipped with an abundance of technically-focused details like detachable sleeves, packable storage, multiple pockets and laminated zippers, all of which are synonymous with Archival Reinvent’s design flair.
One piece I’d particularly like to hone in on is the Teflon® Archival 3D Parka Jacket which can only be described as a unit of a jacket and undeniably distinctive. One of the most recognisable design features is the crossbody zip that allows for easier access into the jacket. Sporting a multitude of 3D pockets throughout, storage will be no problem whatsoever so rest assured but it also provides the jacket with plenty of character. In keeping with the brand's dystopian undertones, the jacket is equipped with a removable face mask and oversized hood which offers visual protection for the wearer. Finally, the Teflon® coated fabric and laminated waterproof zippers shield the wearer from the elements in unsuspected downpours.
As you might have noticed, a large proportion of the collection is made using Teflon® - an invisible fabric technology that repels both water and dirt without compromising on the overall finish of the garment. It is a nylon fabric with a matte appearance that boasts properties like faster drying times, enhanced durability and water, dirt and stain repellency which is ideal for transitioning between different areas.
This Thing of Ours is proud to be the exclusive stockist of Archival Reinvent in the UK - it is now available from their online store and their physical location in Manchester.
