Further expanding its operations beyond its mainline, Archival Reinvent, the Hong-Kong based technical outfitter, has launched its ‘A01_Index System’ range of products to This Thing of Ours - the only certified UK stockist. 

Widely known for the utility-heavy and oversized dressage of its products, Archival Reinvent has been testing the parameters of functionality since its debut a mere 20 months ago, during Spring/Summer ‘21, focusing on multi-pocket assemblies, Teflon® fabrications and clever, technical detailing. Building upon the design cues they have expressed throughout previous collections, A01_Index reinvents key styles released in times gone by and presents them in a newfound form through upgraded patterning and added technical details. So, for those who thought they may never see the re-release of some of their most beloved Archival Reinvent products, you can rest easy now. 

Appropriately tailored towards the season in question, the array of products aptly covers outerwear, bottoms - including shorts -, short-sleeve t-shirts, caps and accessories. With this in mind, This Thing of Ours offering consists of the following styles: Backpack Vest 01, T-Shirt 01C, Cap 01, Bag 01, Shorts 01, and Pants 01. With utility and accessibility at the forefront of Archival Reinvent’s ethos, pieces come dressed in one or a combination of the following: magnetic fidlock buckles, an abundance of spacious pockets or integrated belts, to name but a few of the technical features that bolster their individual credibility. 

One thing is for certain, Archival Reinvent has considered its choice of fabric for the construction of these garments, reaching for the tried-and-tested Teflon® coating, an invisible technology that repels both water and dirt without compromising on the overall finish of the garment. Some of its other capabilities include faster drying times, enhanced durability and water, dirt and stain repellency.
