This Thing Of Ours x Mackintosh Collaboration Collection

When one of the pioneers of weather resistant outerwear with a history going back centuries gives you a call, you pick up. 

That's exactly what happened a little over a year ago, representatives from Mackintosh reached out to show some love for what we're building at This Thing Of Ours and the conversation led us down the path of a limited edition collection 100% designed and manufactured in our native Lancashire. Of course we said yes. 

Whilst at first Mackintosh might not seem like the obvious match for This Thing Of Ours, as a store that doesn't really like to follow rules that's exactly what appealed to us, a brand with a history in outerwear unlike any other but one that might not immediately be on the radar of some of our customers represented a unique opportunity to showcase the best of both businesses.

Forward thinking urban outdoor design combined with outerwear construction that is second to non. The fact that everything could be manufactured less than a 40 minute drive from our store made even more sense. 

And so we're very happy to share with you This Thing Of Ours x Mackintosh a limited edition collection designed by This Thing Of Ours utilising some of the best manufacturing skills the UK has to offer.
