Finnish footwear brand, Tarvas Footwear, began with a simple idea, the mission “to create premium functional footwear that takes care of people on their life journey”. Sounds very Finnish, a little bit Moomin, a little philosophical but the end result is simply incredible. An outdoor shoe that stands up to the unpredictable weather conditions of the brands native Finland and allows people to spend quality time outdoors in nature, regardless of the weather and still look good enough to go straight to a meal in the city on the way home. So, job well done we'd say.
Tarvas footwear focusses on high quality, appearance and functionality and all Tarvas shoes are produced in Finland and made in limited quantities from top notch materials. They're pretty much the antichrist of the typical fast fashion, high volume outdoor shoe that is so prevalent these days.
